Application Process

How to Become a Member

Once a unit becomes available and the approved applicant is contacted to come by the office to complete the process by signing the housing agreement. At the time of signing, a $500.00 membership fee is required, which is refundable, interest free, upon move out if the unit is left in marketable condition.

At this time you will also be required to pay a $15.00 membership fee per each adult, which is not refundable. First month’s housing charge is due mid month of the previous month of move in.

*Note: Our current wait list is full. We are NOT accepting further applications at this time. Once our waiting list is clear, we will be accepting applications again.

To be considered for membership and residence at Cavendish Co-op, prospective applicants must complete our application form with full information as indicated, and participate in a membership review.

The Cavendish Board of Directors will then vote on the member application at their next meeting and the membership applicant is notified of the result.
